Blanche has never met a shade of pink she didn’t like.
Created from pieces of my actual dried paint palettes, Palette Fish Blanche is a one-of-a-kind mixed-media original layered with rosy pinks, raspberry, coral, pale blue, cream, and touches of metallic gold. Her dramatic, fluttery tail and perfectly imperfect layers give her just the right amount of feminine flair—with a little attitude thrown in for good measure.
Each piece of dried acrylic paint is hand-cut, torn, and layered onto canvas, preserving the original brushstrokes, color mixtures, curled edges, and unexpected marks left behind in my painting process. Those scraps become something entirely new, creating dimension and texture that shifts with the light.
Colorful, wonderfully wonky, and completely impossible to duplicate, Blanche is proof that sometimes more is more—especially when pink and gold are involved.
